This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning and practicing money skills can be a daily activity in my classroom if I had the necessary materials. By learning math skills through play, students will be given the opportunity to practice an essential life skill. We are requesting Plastic Coins, Paper Money and Money Equivalency Puzzles. Having pretend money and classroom manipulative kits will teach students how to count.

By donating to our project, you will help students attain life skills and improve their self-confidence, ultimately helping to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to practice their money skills by physically using the play-money to count and eventually be able to identify the value of an assortment of coins and bills.
