My Project

I work with students, at the Tier 2/3 level who need extra support to help them have a successful year academically and socially. Many of my students use point sheets to monitor three daily individualized goals that help them to work on skills that they struggle with. Students also come to me to learn and practice social skills or if they just need a break from the classroom they are in. The end goal of this process is to get them to calm down so they can get back to their classroom to learn. The items I have requested such as the coloring poster and puzzles will help them to relax so they can process their feelings and/or actions with me. The snacks will be used to reward students when they make their individualized goal on their daily point sheet. The Echo will be a great tool that we can use to set timers, listen to calming music and to watch videos related to social skills lessons. The Kleenex is something that is always used and that we can never have enough of.
