This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We will use the 3d pen to learn about the basics of 3d printing and how jobs today use it. We will use it in lots of ways but will also incorporate it into coding. Students will code directions, neighborhoods, parade routes and other ideas that their students can dream up!
The world we live in is STEM focused and will help students be prepared for 21st learning while having fun.
These items can help students learn in so many ways. One specific plan is for students will use the robots to take a tour of a city after researching the city and landmarks and history of it. Students will use the 3D pen to build structures or building of the city they have researched. The robot can be coded to stop at the landmark. Students can use QR codes of recordings to tell about the landmark they researched where the robot stopped. Students will be able to create while learning with tools that are not available to them at home.
