Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My school educates one hundred percent underrepresented minority students who are qualified for free/reduced-price lunch. As a result, more than 60% of them have after-school jobs or responsibilities taking care of other members of their households. This limits the amount of time at home that they have to complete assignments.

In the advanced science classes that I teach, video and audio content preview and review activities are essential to capturing students' interest and attention.

My instructional period has been modified to provide in-class time for students to listen to audio and video content.

Please help me provide my students with earbuds and the sanitary supplies to maintain them so that they can participate in these modified instructional activities.
