This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special needs preschool children in a title 1 school who learn the best by using hands-on materials. The materials will be used in our art center, allowing students to create creatures and buildings. The letter and number mats will be used in our literacy and math centers to help support letter and number recognition.

In addition to the academic support, the materials will help the students develop their fine motor skills by using their finger muscles and having proper finger control which they must have so they can learn to write at school.
