My Project

Please help my students get the resources that they'll need to benefit from for quarter 4. I am asking for 2 sets of novels to help with differentiated small group reading. A novel is a great way to experience authentic literature and writing, however I need the resources to do that. They would love to read about the adventures of the Littles protecting their home, or the Boxcar Children saving sea turtles. These topics are interesting for their age.

A major goal for quarter 4 is learning what makes something magnetic, and there's no better way to do that than to use a variety of magnets!

We will learn how the Earth is magnetic along with other objects. It would be a great hands on experiment for the students to explore, if we had the resources.

Additionally, I am asking for resources on main idea and the best way to teach that concept. My students are really struggling, and would benefit from some extra support.

Ms. Askew will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by June 1.
