My Project

Thank you in advance for helping fund our class project. Basic school supplies especially the composition notebooks are being requested for notetaking. One of the most fundamental benefits of note-taking is its impact on memory. It enhances memory retention.

The goal for this project is to teach the students the purpose of notetaking and how to write notes in different formats.

Besides memory retention, notetaking promotes active listening, improves comprehension and helps to organizes the student's thoughts.

My students are special because they attend a Title I school, The majority of the students are classified as "economically disadvantaged". Because of their financial situation, their learning is sometimes impacted because they cannot afford to purchase basic school supplies. As their teacher, I wish that I could purchase the supplies for all the students in need but it is not financially feasible. This is why I am asking DonorsChoose to assist me with giving the students basic school supplies to be successful.
